JENNA & WARREN
Are Getting Married
THEY BOTH SAID YES
Warren and Jenna met at a 1950's event in Gorleston last November... they both felt there were good vibes and continued talking throughout the evening (with a little help from Jenna's friend!). As the night ended, Warren bottled asking for Jenna's phone number, and Jenna was not looking for a relationship so didn't want to give the wrong impression by asking for his! They said goodbye and off they went.
Both having regretted that, they managed to find each other on Facebook the next day and Warren made the first contact. They agreed to get to know each other as friends only, and met several times at the board game café 'Shuffle', in Bury St Edmunds. However, over the next few months and a very long 3 hour conversation, they decided they wanted to give dating a go.
It was only another short few months later, that on a drive back from Derbyshire, Warren shared how he had a 'dream' that Jenna's 40th birthday party at the end of the year turned out to be a triple birthday celebration (Jenna's birthday being the 20th, Warrens the 25th and our beloved matchmaker friend from the night we met, on the 23rd), as well as our wedding reception! Although Jenna initially freaked out about the idea of getting married again, they talked it through, and decided it was something they both wanted to work towards but would wait a few more months before making a final decision.
They continued getting to know each other, and started spending more time together as a family with Jenna's two children, Tom and Molly. From the time they first had a conversation about marriage, they had both agreed that neither of them wanted a big fuss or cared about traditions, and that a decision to marry would be a mutual one through conversation rather than on one knee.
When the few months had passed, Warren and Jenna agreed they wanted to get married, and spoke Tom and Molly and their dad Ben who each gave their full support, They then made it official!
Over the last year, there have been some ups and downs, some real belly laughs and a few tears, family bundles, hiding socks in fridges and lots of new experiences, and all that can be said is "here's to a lifetime of more!"
Ps: Warren did ultimately propose on one knee to make it official on a steam train ride at Bressingham. He did so with a Haribo ring he had been hiding in an empty chewing gum pot (with the help of Tom and Molly!).
THE WEDDING DAY

We will be starting our special day at our local village Church led by Rev Mary Styles (Church of England) and Alién Rojas Cañizares (Pastor of River of Life Community Church, Haverhill).

2PM | The Reception
We will be leaving the Church in Glemsford around 1.30pm to make our way to Haverhill for the wedding reception which will be an Afternoon Tea dance.
On arrival there will be a seating plan ready for you to find your seats. We will be sending tables out two at a time to help yourselves to a selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones (do make sure you have a big breakfast!). Two of our bridesmaids will be serving you refreshments for the first hour, but please feel free to help yourselves throughout too.
At 2.30pm, The Three Chordettes will be singing the first half of their set for us at whilst we eat and rest before all the dancing!
During their break, we will need some helping hands to clear some space for a dance floor, where we will have Hannah and Robert teaching you a few steps to get swing dancing in the second half of the afternoon (don't worry - we won't be stealing the spotlight - believe it or not, we are beginners just like many of you!)
The Three Chordettes will then perform the second half of their set whilst you practice your new steps, and Hannah and Robert will be available to to guide you if needed!
For the little people, the Lounge room will be converted into a movie room where there will be a small tuck shop run by Steph between 3-3.30pm and popcorn available with a Christmas movie, otherwise they are more than welcome to join us on the dance floor!
We hope you all have a great time and that you will take lots of photos on your phones to share with us at the end! Please visit here to find out how to send them to us.
We aim to finish the day by 5.30pm, where we will be leaving the reception to head off on our honeymoon! We'd love for you to see us off, but if you need to leave earlier that's okay too!
